Principles of Astrology proceeds from the idea that objective astronomical cycles, and physical characteristics of the planets, parallel their subjective psychological significance. Sun signs are described as a changing ratio of day (individual consciousness) to night (collective unconscious) throughout the year. Planetary bodies portray specific realms of experience within that energy field. Their changing relationships (aspects) generate a geometry of meaning. This book ends with an overview of the historical eras associated with conjunctions and transits of the slow moving outer planets. In conclusion it examines Earth’s own precessional cycle, which will enter the long anticipated Age of Aquarius in 2060.
